Gelsenkirchen is represented at RENEX 2009 in Turkey
Solar City Gelsenkirchen is presented as an international locaction for energy at the new exhibit in Istanbul.
On November, 5th the RENEX 2009 opens. For the first time this four-days international exhibition for renewable energies takes place at the Expo Center in Istanbul, Turkey. It offers a great platform to get in touch with potential investors and political deciders from the sector of renewable energies from all around the world.
Besides wind energy, solar energy, photovoltaics and geothermal energy, you will find the topics of water supply, recycling-technology, warm-water-generation and biofuels.
The Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz and the Swiss Minister of Energy and Environment are coming to the opening. Dr.-Ing Heinz Baues with NRW Department of Economy is traveling to Istanbul, too. RENEX 2009 includes some 300 exhibitors from 16 different nations.
The City of Gelsenkirchen, in line with NRW.INVEST and metropoleruhr GmbH, is presenting its potentials, competences and last but not least city-based companies from the sector of future energies.
