BOGESTRA plans to purchase three more hybrid buses

BOGESTRA intends to purchase three more hybrid buses in 2010. This innovative technology combines diesel engines with electric motors. The hybrid drive clearly reduces the effective fuel consumption and therefore contributes to conservation and climate protection. The three buses are to be purchased additionally to the only hybrid so far. This hybrid has been en-route in Gelsenkirchen since June 2008.
